Additional Information
Specimens must be analyzed within 7 hours if at room temperature. Plasma specimen may be stored refrigerated and tested within 24 hours of collection. If the sample cannot be tested within 24 hours, plasma can be stored at -20 C, transport frozen plasma to NCL. DO NOT FREEZE WHOLE BLOOD. Samples that have been stored refrigerated or frozen must be at room temperature for 30 minutes before testing and be homogenized.
