Routine Venipuncture

Collection Volume

1 mL. For 1-25 allergens collect 5 mL (1 full SST or Red Top). For 25-50 Tests collect 10 mL (2 completely full SSTs or Red Tops).

Minimum Collection Volume

0.6 mL. For 1-25 allergens collect 5 mL (1 full SST or Red Top) . For 25-50 allergens collect 10 mL (2 completely full SSTs or Red Tops).

Testing Volume

0.3 mL of Serum for single allergen, includes 0.25 mL dead space. For more than one allergen: (0.05 mL x number of allergens) + 0.25 mL dead space
