Additional Information
The test is indicated for:
1. To screen patients 21 years of age and older with ASC-US cervical cytology test results to assess the presence of high risk HPV genotype with specific 16 and 18 genotyping.
2. In women 30 and older, the test can be used with cervical cytology to adjunctively screen to assess the presence of high risk HPV genotypes with specific 16 and 18 genotyping.
High risk screening includes HPV types 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 66 and 68. The genotypes 16 and 18 are reported separately.
